At course level:
- Evaluate your course with the help of the questionnaire function available in the VLE.
- Use the available information in the educational software (learning analytics) about how the students have used it.
- Follow and analyse the students’ study results with the help of the test results function in the VLE.
- Analyse the evaluation results to find strong and weak points. Is your course effective, efficient, valued and well-liked?
- Analyse the test results of the students. Does it meet the learning objectives?
- Discuss the results with the students and their colleagues. What worked? What could be improved?
- Develop ideas on how you can improve the course further.
At the program/curriculum level
- Evaluate the program systematically. Main topics: Entry level and matching, the transition from secondary education, consistency, relevancy, effectivity, practicability, transparency, test program and learning objectives are aligned, closure of the program, monitoring students’ progress, motivation, feasibility, personal development, social interaction, the logic structure of the program and nominal study (=students will use the available learning activities instead of waiting until a view weeks before the final test)
- Analyse the results. Develop ideas on how you can improve the course further.
