Design of Evidence-Based Blended Learning in Higher Education

  1. Cases are studied in a lecture, classroom, small work groups, project work, practical work in the skill labs and in internships.
  2. The cases used in a course or program will be increasing in complexity and difficulty during the course (or program).
  3. Cases can be used:
    To illustrate an explanation.
    To apply already learned knowledge.
to learn how to use knowledge in practical situations and
to present students with typical practical problems/constraints/tasks often not explained in books.
  4. Cases, problems or issues from the discipline (practical and research) are illustrated with the help of the multimedia (pictures, video, simulations, animation in the VLE).
